Text Box: represented in Montpelier with director George Coppenrath in the Senate. George is a hunter and trap shooter and understands the issues that the anti-hunting groups bring to the Legislature. Our club is also a member of the Vermont Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs and the NRA. 
     I look forward to the new year and hope to hear from you with ideas and comments regarding the clubs future.
     Oh yes - membership fees are still $35, or the same as 11.3 gallons of gas.

Text Box: page 10)     The ideas include; leaving it the way it is, fixing it up, or building a new one. Consider this news letter a request for input from you regarding club improvements. This fall we also improved the roof on the 200 yd range. The front has been extended to offer more protection for bench rest shooters. Last summer we completed soil testing in preparation for upgrading the sewer system. We hope to be able to move on this project next summer.
     The executive committee under the direction of Andy Fisher continues to assemble a list of proposals for the clubs growth. We are interested in looking at all ideas. If you have ideas that you would like to have considered please get them to me or one of the directors. 
     When spring arrives there will be some maintenance items to be dealt with. The directors are always looking for members who would like to help with jobs ranging from clean up to assembling shooting benches and target frames.
