Text Box: With a slow start with between 4-6 shooters starting off the Bullseye pistol matches, we grew to having 16 at the beginning of September! That’s what a little advertising around the area gun shops did for us. We had shooters from NH come over and join us (and they shoot in Littleton over the winter!). Matches had been scheduled to start in April, but the target stand holes were still frozen, so we didn’t get started till May. We met 11 times for point Text Box: standings, and one more time in October for a ‘fun shoot’ and to present awards. Ernie Hazard was the only pistol shooter to attend all events, with his wife Ginny being the only women shooter all summer! Chuck Norton was our only youth shooter, and we expect to see him doing much better next year. Ginny Hazard was the season’s Most Improved shooter—going from a low of 113 at her first shoot to high score of 309! The overall Champion for Text Box: 2007 Bullseye Pistol Matches ! ! !
